Training Dates for Sticker
These are the dates for training at Sticker up to the end of 2016, taking into account the matches:
Sunday 27th November
Saturday 3rd December
Sunday 11th December
Sunday 18th December
Should it be very bad weather on any of the above but forecast better on the other weekend date, then we can change as I will be able to be there myself
We could also do some on 27th / 31st December, if anyone would be interested in running off the excesses?
First date back in the New Year will then be Sunday 15th January (due to the training with Dave Munnings the weekend before)
Our Outdoor Training Venue
Our venue for outdoor training is on the corner of the road in Sticker that goes down to Griggs. Training at Sticker will start on Sunday afternoons from 23rd October.
Beginners 1pm - 2pm.
Experienced and competing dogs after the beginners have finished.
The cost is £4 per session. We may change the day to Saturday if there is a show or a match on Sunday.
Please contact Kim on 07596602282 for more information or email email@example.com
Please note, there are no toilet facilities at the Sticker venue however, there is a restaurant and cafe 2 minutes down the road at Griggs where you can buy tea and cake after training and use the facilities. They are open till 4pm on Sundays.
From time to time we will be hiring two indoor venues nights for training and steeplechase nights. One is Chiverton and the other is Polean Farm near Pelynt. As yet we haven't arranged any sessions for the winter but we will keep you posted and let everyone know in good time when there is any training or an event going on. Both riding schools have good facilities and Polean even has a heated toilet.
Workshops with Dave Munnings
These will be held at the Cornwall Riding Centre, Blackwater, TR16 5UT on 7th and 8th January 2017. Classes are filling rapidly so please check with Kim to see if there's a space available before you send any money.

Spectator spaces are also available.
All spaces are now full ecept for 1 or 2 on Sunday. Please contact Kim in the first instance to go on the waiting list or to see if a space has become available.

Cornwall Agility Club currently runs regular training classes for it's members with Jean Starnes at Bodelva near Par, however, Jean will be retiring from training this autumn and we will soon be changing location. Jean has done a fantastic job and has put up with us lot for a long time. The club would like to thank her for all she's done, all the hours spent patiently guiding us, cajoling us and persuading us and all the hours spent moving and maintaining equipment and much much more. Thank you Jean.
The sessions are currently run on Wednesday evenings.
Each session costs just £3.00.
For further information please use the contact form at the bottom of the page.
Workshops and Training Camps
During the summer we will be arranging some fun training camps down at Bodelva and during the winter we have guest trainers and local trainers who are running special workshops.
We currently have the following dates for trainers. If you are interested please get in touch with us. Although the training sessions fill up very quickly you may be able to join a waiting list in case someone is unable to attend.
4th November - Barrie James
We are lucky to have the amazing Barrie James who will be running sessions at the Chiverton indoor riding school near Truro. Members will be notified by email when booking becomes available. Sorry, there's no waiting list. There's a huge amount of interest and places are likely to be filled very quickly.
7th and 8th January 2017 - Dave Munnings
Dave Munnings hasrun many training sessions for us and next year he will be back in early January for two days. Training will be at a new venue, The Cornwall Riding Centre, Blackwater. Booking is not yet available for this event.
Training on the showground
It's always valuable to get some training in at
a showground if possible but of course Kennel Club rules don't
allow you to train in the ring or to set
up your own equipment at a show.
This year we have run some very successful training classes at the showground on the set up day. Many thanks to Sharon Cann, Becci Chant and Heidi Vague for helping with this. The classes are run outside the rings that are used for competition.
